Snotrac is proud to announce a Snohomish County Bicycle Library System!
E-bikes can offer essential mobility and connection for our community members, and are especially useful for those with limited transportation access or unable to drive.
We plan to partner with community organizations to offer free loans of e-bikes and electric cargo bikes to members of our partner organizations. E-bikes can be a game changer, easily climbing our hills and delivering riders to their destinations. Electric cargo bikes give people the ability to do even more, and we’re excited to include several choices. This allows people to “check out” several options from the bicycle Library to see what would work best for their needs.
Snotrac is partnering with community organizations and plans to open our first libraries. We plan to have 10 partners, with each site having 3 e-bikes, and 30 total e-bikes available to borrow.
This program is funded by Washington’s Climate Commitment Act, through a grant from Washington State Department of Transportation’s E-Bike Lending Library and Ownership Grant Program.
We are very excited to offer and support this program, and can’t wait to get riding!
